Rachel is freelance textile designer, craft expert and published author with over 15 years experience in the craft industry.

She inherited her love for making things from her two great aunties who were avid sewers, crocheters and embroiderers. Their enthusiasm and passion for handicrafts inspired her to pursue a career as a maker. After leaving school she attended Gray’s School of Art where she trained as a Textile Designer and honed her home – taught talents. Upon graduating, Rachel was employed by internationally renowned knitwear brand Rowan Yarns as a Design Consultant, Demonstrator and Workshop Tutor for whom she worked for for 5 years before launching her own company and brand.
